In any school, fundraising is a NECESSARY feature to fully operate the school and all its potential opportunities. Many of the faculty, parents and others look for different ways not only to make it beneficial for Risen Christ, but to make it fun and easy for everyone to participate. Much thanks to Theresa Morgan, our school coordinator, who has worked to make gift cards (the scrip card program) a simple way for all of us to contribute WITHOUT going beyond what we currently spend in our monthly budget. It is a win-win for Risen Christ! If you are not using the gift cards (like we already use everywhere!), PLEASE stop by the school or church to get yours. If you shop at WalMart, (10 cents off a gallon of gas with your cards!), Lowes Home Improvement, Tanger Outlet; If you eat out, there are many different restaurants, like Cracker Barrel, Applebees, Arby’s, Bonefish or just ordering pizzas at Dominos from the house just to name a few; not to mention coffee at Starbucks, I could go on and on! There are hundreds of participants and if you already patron these places, why not continue to use them, but just get gift cards from Risen Christ to support the school we all love so much? Now it is even easier! Your out of town family, friends as well as from the comfy place in front of your computer at your own home, we can all shop for cards on line!
